On the front you will find a control panel with a clear digital display, which gives you complete control when setting your welding parameters. With a simple turn of the button you determine the speed of the wire feed as well as the MIG & MMA welding current, which you can also read off the display. On the control panel you will also find a selection button with which you can select the welding parameters FLUX (cored wire) / MIX / Co2 / MIG / MMA.

The MIG 160ER is equipped with a high-quality metal wire feeder, which grips 2 rolls of max. 100mm diameter with a wire diameter of 0.6 – 0.8mm. At the same time, one of the rollers of the wire feeder is also motor-driven, which guarantees you a smooth and controlled wire feed.
FLUX cored welding
Flux-cored welding is a process that combines good handling, flexibility and cost-effective equipment. Flux cored wire allows you to produce fine and consistent welds in a short time and has the advantage that no additional protection gas is needed. To convert to flux cored welding, you only need to change the polarity, which can be easily reversed; simply swap the polarity of the gun and the ground cable to the negative pole.
